Florida Scramble (Medal)
a. The team selects a captain before start of play.
b. All players in the team hit a tee shot.
c. The best ball, as determined by the captain of the team, is selected for the second shot.
d. The ball is marked within 1 foot of the ball.
e. If on the fairway each member of the team places their ball within 1 foot of the marker, not nearer the hole.
f. If not on the fairway each member of the team drops a ball, according to the Rules of Golf, within one club length of the marker not nearer the hole and not on the fairway if this lies within the one club length.
g. Each member of the team except the player whose ball has been chosen hits their shot from that spot.
h. The process continues until the hole is played out.
i. The captain and another team member sign the card.
j. Florida Scramble 4 to 3 Man Rules
If only 3 players on a team of 4
1. The minimum number of drives will increase by 1.
2. The team will revert to Texas Scramble rules.
Note: On the green, the Competition Administrator may decide to allow all players to putt.
The minimum number of drives for players in a four-man team in this competition is three
(25%/20%/15%/10% from lowest to highest playing handicap)
